Dear BPS Families:

What an incredible first day of school! It was wonderful to see our students return with such positive energy and a readiness to learn.  Schools were brightly decorated and welcoming, and it was clear that everyone came prepared to start the year strong. Staff spoke about how much they missed the students and how happy they were to have them back in the schools. Classrooms were filled with excitement and curiosity.

I would also like to acknowledge the exceptional work of our administrators, teachers, and support staff.   One of the highlights of the day was seeing our school administrators walking through hallways with smiles, personally greeting students, and visiting classrooms. Their presence set a warm, welcoming tone and reminded everyone that we are a connected, caring community. 

Thank you to our families for your continued partnership, and to our students for bringing your best selves to school. With such a strong start, I’m confident this will be a year full of growth, innovation, and success.  Please enjoy some pictures from Day One!

Reminder, this Monday, September 1st, is Labor Day, and all Bristol Public Schools will be closed.  All BPS will reopen on Tuesday, September 2nd.
