Redistricting Meeting Update

Posted Date: 10/30/25 (5:15 PM)

I want to take a moment to provide you with an overview of the upcoming redistricting process and key dates that will help guide our collective work and communication with families.

October 30 – Workshop Model Public Meeting
The Redistricting Team will host a public workshop on October 30, open to all teachers, families, and community members. The purpose of this meeting is to review the reasons for redistricting and our goal of aligning middle schools with their corresponding high schools. It is also to inform Board of Education members that may be new to the board of the first round of redistricting. This will be an informational session only—no decisions or votes will be made, no new data will be shared.

November 5 – Board of Education Meeting
At this meeting, the Board will hear a presentation of enrollment projections and the rationale behind redistricting. Two proposed redistricting options will be shared for review. No vote will occur at this meeting, and the information will be made available to the public afterward.

December 2025 – Board Vote and Family Outreach
The Board of Education will vote on one of the two redistricting options presented in November. Once a decision is made, communication and detailed planning will begin immediately. Central Office will also host Parent Information Nights across the district to support families in understanding new assignments, transitions, and timelines.
